INSTALLAZION PATCH PES 2021 UPDATE 2025

Installation has two phases:
 
PHASE 1: COPY THE PATCH INTO THE USB

- Download the patch by clicking on the link you have received by email.
- Insert a USB pendrive into the PC
- FIND the patch on your PC and unzip by double clicking on it. You will see a folder named "​ORIGINAL PATCH PES 2021 - UPDATE 2026 - V1“. Open it.
- Inside you'll find 4 folders called WEPES, OPTIONAL, EXTRAS and A-Z
- Copy (or drag) the "WEPES" folder inside the USB pendrive.
- Now Insert the USB pendrive into the PS4 or PS5. Leave the usb plugged into the PC if you are using the PC version of pes.


PHASE 2: SET THE 2025-26 SEASON

- We have to delete the PES 2021 edit file first.

If you use PS4: go to SETTINGS then SAVED DATA MANAGEMENT then SAVED DATA IN SYSTEM STORAGE then DELETE
If you use PS5: go to Settings > Saved Data and Game/App Settings Select Saved Data (PS5) Select Console Storage > Delete
If you use PC: Go to the Konami saving folder on your pc and delete the EDIT FILE (usually you find it named like edit0000

- Delete the EDIT DATA then start pes 2021. (if at start, pes asks you to use the backup file say NO)

- Go in the SETTINGS menu and then EDIT then,  IMPORT/EXPORT then  DELETE IMAGES and delete all the images in all the category.

- Go back in the EDIT menu then, IMPORT/EXPORT then IMPORT COMPETITIONS
- Press square to select all the files then GO TO THE DETAILED SETTINGS then OK and pes will import all the competitions.
 
- Go to “competition structure”, “number of teams” and set 18 for BUNDESLIGA.
               
- Go to edit menu and go to "import/export" and then "import team".
- A list of files will appear. Select all the files pressing square, and then “go to the detailed menu“
- CHOOSE BOTH OPTIONS (APPLY PLAYERS DATA AND OVERWRITE FILE WITH THE SAME NAME) AND PRESS OK
- Import will start. It will takes few minutes

- Now go to “COMPETITION STRUCTURE” then “EUROPE” and swap Cosenza, Reijka, Cluj and Crotone from Bundesliga with Hamburger SV, Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern Munchen and Koln that are in Other Europe. 
- Now go to “COMPETITION STRUCTURE” then “ASIA” and swap the three fake teams (Al Ahly, Wydad Casablanca and Esperance de Tunis) in JLeague with FC Tokyo, Vissel Kobe e Yokohama Marinos that are in AFC Champions League.
 
- Now we have to set the relegations ad promotions
- Now go to “COMPETITION STRUCTURE” then “EUROPE” and swap:

Chievo - Carrarese
Cosenza - Catanzaro
LR Vicenza - Cesena

- Now go to “COMPETITION STRUCTURE” then “SOUTH AMERICA” and swap:

From LIGA ARGENTINA ​to OTHER SOUTH AMERICA

Patronato - Instituto

From BRASEILEIRAO A ​to BRASILEIRAO B
A. Paranaense - Vitoria
A. Goianense - Botafogo

Chapecoense - Mirassol (it's in Other South America)
Cuiabà - Vasco da Gama

Now, if you want to, you can put the teams in alphabetic order using the images inside the "A-Z" folder.

- Go back to the Settings menu and Save. 

- FINISH ! Now you have pes 2021 updated to 2026.


AT THE MOMENT THE PATCH UPDATES THE MAIN 5 EUROPEAN LEAGUES. TRANSFERS UPDATE AT JULY 25TH.
MINOR LEAGUES WILL BE UPDATED WITH NEXT UPDATES. TOO MANY KITS AND YOUNG PLAYERS HAS NOT BEEN REVEALED YET.
EVEN THE KITS WILL BE UPGRADED IN QUALITY AND UPDATE WITH NEW SPONSOR.
NEXT UPDATES WILL BE RELEASED AUGUST 15TH AND SEPTEMBER 4.

MAN U, BARCELONA, BAYERN and PSG with 4 2025 kits
JUVE ROMA AND NAPOLI WITH 2025 KITS AND OTHERS SERIE A TEAMS

- INSIDE "EXTRAS" FOLDER YOU CAN FIND: 

MANY OTHERS COMPLETE LEAGUES SUCH AS 2.BUNDESLIGA, SERIE C, LIGA MX AND CLASSIC TEAMS

TO PLAY THE FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP JUST CHOOSE "CUP" FROM THE MAIN MENU, THEN GO TO THE END OF THE MENU AND CHOOSE "FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP". NOW CHOOSE YOUR TEAM AND CREATE THE REAL GROUPS. THERE'S A PICTURE OF THE GROUPS IN THE UPDATE FOLDER TO HELP YOU.
